Jarosławiec is one of the best places for a family vacation on the Baltic Sea . It boasts a wide beach, a gentle slope into the sea, plenty of playgrounds, and is less crowded than Kołobrzeg or Mielno. Below, you'll find a practical guide for parents.

- 👮 WOPR lifeguards - during the season, guarded swimming areas marked with flags
- 🌳 Microclimate - lots of pine forests = clean, iodine air, good for children with allergies
- 🚗 Less crowded - you can find a parking space even in July

What to pack for a baby
- ☀️ Sunscreen with SPF 50+ (water and wind accelerate burns)

- 🧥 Sweater or windbreaker - it's chilly on the Baltic Sea in the evenings, even in July
- 🪣 Sand toys - bucket, shovel, molds
- 🧴 Wet wipes and a bottle of water (not always available on the beach)
- 🩹 Small first aid kit - dressings for abrasions from shells/stones
Practical tips
- Season: Best from June to the first half of September. In July and August, the water reaches 19-22°C—ideal for bathing a child.
- Evenings: it's cool on the Baltic Sea (15-18°C even in summer) - take warm clothes for your child
- Wind: The Baltic Sea is windy year-round. Children playing with sand can get it in their mouths or eyes—use swimming goggles.
- Mosquitoes: May appear in the woods in the evening - take repellent for children
