🗼 LIGHTHOUSE 🎥 360° TOUR

Latarnia Morska Jarosławiec

Zabytek · ul. Szkolna, Jarosławiec

About this place

Jarosławiec Lighthouse – built in 1838, one of the oldest and tallest surviving lighthouses on the Polish Baltic coast. The distinctive red-and-white checkerboard tower, 33.3 meters high, is visible from afar – making Jarosławiec recognizable from every point on the coast between Darłowo and Ustka.

Construction: A round tower made of red brick, plastered in a red-and-white checkerboard pattern. At the top is a viewing gallery and a lantern with Fresnel optics. The light is visible from a distance of 22 nautical miles (approx. 41 km).

History: The lighthouse has operated continuously since the 19th century and has undergone several lighting modernizations (from oil, through kerosene and carbide, to electricity and modern LEDs). It survived both world wars—in 1945, retreating German troops failed to destroy it.

Sightseeing: 140 metal steps lead to the viewing platform. From the top: a panoramic view of the Baltic Sea, the beach, forests, Lake Wicko and Kopań, and the entire promenade. On clear days, you can see Darłowo and Ustka.

Tickets: 4 PLN per person (usually unchanged for years). Ascent/descent time: ~20 minutes.

Contact: Marek Żuchowski, tel. +48 606 144 727 or +48 59 810 94 18. Open daily in season, by phone outside the season.

Fun fact: The lighthouse in Jarosławiec was modeled using Gaussian Splatting technology by Jarosław Borowski (Trusted Pro). You can rotate, zoom, and see every detail of the 3D model below—from the brick wall to the lamp at the top.
